The Lesniak Institute for American Leadership was established to train the next generation of leaders in America.
What better way to train leaders than by example?
One cause that we have taken up is Toys for Hospitalized Children. Founded in 1953, the organization exists for one reason: to bring smiles and healing to sick children. It is devoted to creating joy through a toy to children in hospitals and special-needs facilities.
Since its inception more than 65 years ago, Toys for Hospitalized Children has brought smiles to 950,000 children in 150 hospitals in 10 states with gifts and toys. Each year, it distributes over 20,000 toys and gifts in hundreds of children’s hospitals and special-needs facilities.
Each gift is accompanied by a visit and a smile from one of the caring volunteers.
